SUMMARY:Range Closure(s): Lead Mitigation Work Beginning June 22\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:PPSA will begin lead mitigation work on the long range beginning Monday\, June 22. This work is expected to continue for roughly a month. \n\n\n\nAll ranges may be impacted on different days during this project. At this time\, we do not have an exact schedule for each individual range closure. Members should be aware that some ranges may be closed for a few hours\, a full day\, or possibly longer while the work is completed. \n\n\n\nPPSA continues to spend a considerable amount of time and money on lead mitigation to ensure we are respecting the environment and the land we are fortunate to be entrusted with. \n\n\n\nPlease be understanding and respectful to the workers while this important work is underway. \n\n\n\nQuestions (about exact range closures and when\, if you are looking to go the range) may be directed to: \n\n\n\nCory OlsonPPSA Board Chairman(406) 431-6598

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, August 8\, 20268:00 to 11:00 AM \n\n\n\nJoin PPSA and Capital Sports for Range Day as we get ready for the 2026 hunting season. \n\n\n\nThis year’s event will focus on hunting rifles\, scopes\, suppressors\, and ammunition performance. It will be a great opportunity to learn more about suppressor use in the field\, compare quality optics\, and see a variety of hunting firearms and equipment before the season begins. \n\n\n\nFeatured items will include: \n\n\n\nSuppressors from:SilencerCo\, BANISH\, HUXWRX\, Faxon\, and more \n\n\n\nRifles from:Ruger\, Bergara\, Christensen\, Weatherby\, and more \n\n\n\nOptics from:Leupold\, GPO\, Vortex\, Nightforce\, and more \n\n\n\nThe event will also include a ballistic gel demonstration from Nosler\, giving attendees a closer look at ammunition performance. \n\n\n\nWhether you are preparing for the upcoming hunting season\, considering new equipment\, or simply want to learn more from knowledgeable people in the field\, we encourage you to join us. \n\n\n\nAll attendees are expected to follow range safety rules and all applicable local\, state\, and federal laws.
